Sue Boaden has semi-retired from professional practice and is taking on a limited number of new projects only.

Sue Boaden is a leading Australian cultural strategist based in Sydney and working around the country on projects commissioned by diverse clients in large metropolitan and urban cities as well as in regional towns and rural and remote areas.

Clients are mainly drawn from the public and community sectors including Federal, State and local government as well as from a range of arts and cultural organisations. Sue has nearly 20 years of experience in strategic cultural planning and policy development, in operational management reviews and in cultural and arts facility planning and management.

Sue has an emerging interest in cultural mapping, creative placemaking and cultural impact assessment. She maintains an active focus in working with communities to build local identity and sense of place and has experience in public art policy development as well as in making digital oral histories and storytelling.
